They are woven in turned twill on an 8-shaft loom using 30/2 Euroflax linen from Lofty Fiber. The linen is a dream to work with, and if you have never woven with linen, this would be a great place to start. You will need an 8-shaft loom with a 20" weaving width, a 10-dent reed, 1 shuttle and 3 bobbins. The pattern gives you 7 possible treadling options for a set of napkins that look great together, but aren't boring to weave. Check out the color options at Lofty Fiber and make a set of napkins that work for your table or make them as a gift for a very lucky friend."

There are options for the Pattern PDF only, yarn kit only (if you already own the pattern), and pattern and yarn kit. If you purchase the pattern and yarn kit from this listing, we'll print the pattern to include with the yarn as well provide the PDF download.

The yarn kit includes the following in Euroflax 30/2 linen, allowing for a 5-yard warp and 8 napkins finishing at 17"X17" after hemming.

Euroflax 30/2 in the following colors and amounts:

Champagne - 1 6-oz cone and 2 2-oz cones (total yardage 2824 yds)

Straw - 1 6-oz cone (total yardage 1700 yds)

Buttercup - 1 6-oz cone (total yardage 1700 yds)

If you'd like to substitute 3 different colors, send us an email at info@loftyfiber.com and we'll make up a kit in your colors.

The yarn kit contains an additional 884 yards over the published requirements for the 8-napkins in the various treadling variations.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0934/6760/7346/files/swellegant-linen-napkin-pattern-and-yarn-kit_1.jpg?v=1791396889
